Save your back! This season why don’t you try to grow string trellis tomatoes So you’re not bending over to harvest.
By helping your tomatoes grow vertically, you will be able to stand up while you harvest your fruit.
Here are a few tips.
TIP #1 – Build a framework around your tomato bed, that you will be able to tie some string or cord or small rope onto the tomatoes.
TIP #2 – Check your garden store, or online for those little plastic clips. They easily snap on, and snap off to the vine of the plant onto the string or twine.
TIP #3 – Try hanging your tomatoes from the framework structure. You can plant them in hanging pots, and let the tomatoes grow down with gravity.
